Four two-door cars received the highest safety rating in frontal crashes and two received that rating for side collisions in recent testing by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. The institute gave its "good" rating in side crashes to the Volvo C30 and two-door Ford Focus. Those vehicles, along with the two-door Honda Civic and Chevrolet Cobalt, also received "good" ratings for frontal collisions, the non-profit group funded by auto insurers said.
There was no way the Concorso Italiano team was going to let Lamborghini’s 50th birthday slip by unnoticed, which is why this year there was a big effort made to get as many examples of the marque there was possible. While there were few real rarities, models from the past 25 years were there in big numbers; once again, the rarities will be out in force at the Pebble Beach Concours on Sunday…
If you wanted to check out a Lamborghini timeline, the one here was pretty good. But there was no LM-002 4x4, which was a shame.

Chevrolet Ultra: the lowdown
Hidden beneath the WTCC Ultra's wild touring car looks is Chevrolet's 2008 Ford Focus rival. GM's headline concept car at today’s Paris motor show (Thursday 28), the Ultra previews Chevrolet's future design direction, as well as the Lacetti replacement. Although the muscular bodykit, ultra-wide track, funky graphics and slitty rear window will all be toned down for production, 'you won’t miss the connection when the production car arrives,' a GM insider told CAR Online.
